The government is poised to announce fresh personal injury reforms in today’s Queen’s Speech, according to reports.
The BBC says the slimmed-down government wishlist will include a Civil Liability Bill to address the ‘compensation culture’ around motor insurance claims. The pledge is likely to be similar to the whiplash elements of the Prisons and Courts Bill, which ran out of time before the snap election.
